What truly makes Lofoten Zip unique is the exceptionally luxurious cashmere from the Altai region of Mongolia — an area renowned for producing some of the world’s longest, finest, and softest fibers. This gives the garment a rare quality you can both see and feel.

The sweater is knitted with delicate cable patterns in 7 gg, creating a perfect balance between lightness and warmth. The result is a garment that feels neither too thin nor too thick, and that drapes naturally with a relaxed yet sophisticated fit.

As part of our Limited Edition collection, Lofoten is produced in a very limited quantity. This gives you the opportunity to own an exclusive garment that truly stands out — both in quality and expression.

Our Cashmere

At Cashmere House, we carefully hand-select our cashmere wool from specific regions of Mongolia and work exclusively with specially chosen factories in Mongolia. We have partnered with these factories for more than 20 years and conduct quality inspections several times each year.

Mongolian cashmere has a fiber length of 36–42 mm. Chinese cashmere is, on average, 25% shorter (28–32 mm) and finer than Mongolian cashmere.

In China, cashmere fibers are graded from A to F, with Grade A representing the highest quality. Mongolian cashmere is considered superior to Chinese cashmere and is often classified as A+ or A++ quality.

Cashmere Care & Maintenance

A cashmere garment from Cashmere House should be washed regularly after use and dried flat at room temperature. Do not use more than 600 rpm during the spin cycle.

When washing cashmere garments, we recommend using a laundry bag and Milo, or another detergent specifically designed for cashmere. Always follow the additional care instructions provided on the garment label.

Knitted cashmere garments should be washed at 30°C (86°F). Washing in water that is too hot or too cold may damage the fibers or cause felting.

Important: Woven cashmere garments should not be machine washed or hand washed; they must be dry cleaned.

To remove pilling, use a cashmere comb or gently remove the pills by hand.

Shipping, Delivery and Exchanges

The standard regulations for online purchases apply. In accordance with consumer protection laws, you have a 14-day return period from the date of purchase.

To qualify for a return under the right of withdrawal, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The garment must be neatly packed in its original packaging.
  2. All tags and labels must remain attached and must not be removed.
  3. The garment must be returned in its original condition. Items that have absorbed odors, become dirty, or been damaged will not be accepted for return.

Returns that do not meet these requirements may be refused.
