For generations, the name Cashmere House has existed in various markets around the world – traditionally as physical businesses defined by geography and local registrations.

In today’s digital world, position is no longer defined by borders, but by structure, presence, and global reach.

CashmereHouse.com has therefore been established as our international platform – built for a market without boundaries through our Digital Cashmere Cluster (DCC).

Rather than building a national brand within limited frameworks, we have chosen to develop a long-term global structure for cashmere products in the digital age – together with carefully selected partners across the entire value chain.

The idea behind Cashmere House was formed over 20 years ago. In recent years – particularly after Covid – the market has changed fundamentally. After operating physical stores, including several years at Aker Brygge in Oslo, we have transitioned to a predominantly digital model.

The structure is no longer solely Norwegian – it is global and globally owned. We have built a strong international team with roots in Mongolia, the EU, the UK, India, and Australia, combined with Nordic design and global collaboration.

We work closely with herding families and production partners and understand the quality behind every fiber. Through our network, we document fiber length and micron levels and emphasize full transparency throughout the value chain. Authentic origin is not a marketing term for us – it is the foundation – and cashmere garments should be worn with pride.

Cashmere is a limited natural resource, and quality varies significantly – much like wine between regions and vintages. The difference lies in origin, sorting, precision, experience, and how the yarn is spun. This is where our expertise lies.

Through our Digital Cashmere Cluster (DCC), we collaborate with carefully selected manufacturers and designers within a structured and controlled model. This is not an open marketplace, but a long-term partnership built on quality, sustainability, and shared standards.

By reducing unnecessary intermediaries and integrating production, design, and distribution into one cohesive structure, we create a more responsible and efficient global cashmere model. Our direct approach brings you closer to the source – providing documented quality, a thoughtful pricing structure, and access to an internationally curated assortment, wherever you are in the world.

Through our Designer Hub, new collections and limited editions are developed in collaboration with international designers. The result is global accessibility, responsible production, and premium cashmere – created for a new era.

Cashmere House is built on origin, experience, and long-term vision.
